They squeezed into their favorite corners with some pen and paper and started to write, sketch or just doodled whatever came to their minds, or perhaps they went dancing or playing with the simplest objects. I often found myself doing this during lectures at school, I opened up my notebook and started to draw the weirdest shapes and faces, like I was under a spell. This was my comfort zone, my refuge, a place where nothing mattered and where mind directly collided with paper.</p> <p>I miss those times. Its not that I or anyone else has ended to seek refuge from reality, its just… they ended up here, on the internet. And what a comfort zone it is. Not only are we breaking away from our daily reality, we’re also breaking away from ourselves. We’ve become happy by ingesting intellectual values of others, while our own creativity stays dormant in the back of our mind.
